Today, I decided to write a FAQ-style post about it to explain what it is and why you need it in your life.
So without further ado, here are the 10 most frequently asked questions about Essential Rewards…
What is Essential Rewards?
It is a monthly wellness subscription box that you order through Young Living!
Who’s it for?
Essential Rewards is for Young Living members. If you’ve ordered a Young Living starter kit, then you’re a member! Yay!

Why do I need Essential Rewards?
It is the easiest and most cost-effective way to get rid of your toxin-filled cleaning supplies, shampoos, soaps, makeup, lotions, etc. and replace them with plant-based and natural options!

It’s awesome because you’re not spending extra money each month. Instead, you’re buying what you would be buying otherwise at Target but now at Young Living!
What are the benefits?
With Essential Rewards, you get points back on every purchase that you can then use to get free products later!
There are also different freebies you get every month if you spend certain amounts.
There are also loyalty gifts you get after being on Essential Rewards for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year! I believe these loyalty gifts are all essential oils.
What are the freebies?
These vary every month.
In May 2020, the freebies are…
- 100 PV- 5mL Longevity vitality
- 190 PV- 15mL Endoflex, 5mL Lavender, 5mL Longevity vitality
- 250 PV- Deep Relief Roll-on, 5mL Endoflex, 5mL Lavender, 5mL Longevity vitality
- 300 PV- 15mL Frankincense, Deep Relief Roll-on, 5mL Endoflex, 5mL Lavender, 5mL Longevity vitality
Wondering what PV means? PV stands for “Point Value.” Typically, 1 US dollar = 1 PV.

How many points back?
This varies based upon how long you’ve been using Essential Rewards.
- Months 1-3: 10% back
- Months 4-24: 20% back
- After 2 Years: 25% back
How much am I required to spend?
This is the best part- You can spend as much or as little as you want!
The minimum order is 50PV (about $50). But remember, you get freebies for spending 100PV, 190PV, 250PV and 300PV. So, if you see that your total is going to be $87, you might want to find something else that costs $13 so you can get that free oil!
What day does it process each month?
Just kidding, this is the best part! LOL!
You get to pick what day you want it to process! Sweet, right?
So if you want to make sure that it comes after your payday, you can schedule it that way!
If you’re impatient like me and want your order to come as soon as possible, you can put it towards the beginning of the month.
I love the flexibility with this! You can change your processing date at any time! How great is that?
How do I sign up?
If you’re a Young Living member, you’ll log in to your account and look for the “ER Monthly Order” button on the sidebar.
However, if you’re not a Young Living member yet, you can get started here or by going to youngliving.com and entering the number 13779914 when it asks for your sponsor ID. :)
