I believe there is a very broad spectrum on this issue.
You may be thinking, “Um, DUH! It’s totally okay for girls to ask out guys! It’s 2019! Equality for all!”
Or, you might be thinking, “I don’t think it’s okay at all! Guys should be the one to step up and lead the relationship. Girls should just sit and wait for a guy to come to them.”
Well, regardless of where you sit on the “is it okay for girls to ask out guys” spectrum, let’s chat about it today :)
Today I’m so happy to have our first guest join us on our coffee date! One of my best friends, Michaela, is joining me on the Coffee With Kara podcast to address this question. Both she and I have thought a lot about girls asking out guys and our opinions about this have shifted over the last few years.
In fact, last semester Michaela even asked out a guy!
